Aufgrund der Installation wichtiger Sicherheitsupdates im Bereich des geclusterten zentralen Fileservers (NFS und Samba) kommt es morgen, Freitag 10.3.2023 ab 16:30 Uhr zur kurzzeitigen Unterbrechung der genannten Dienste. Die Unterbrechung wird bei planmäßigem Verlauf der Arbeiten etwa 10 Minuten dauern.

direkt betroffen sind die Dienste:
NFS
Samba

mittelbar damit auch betroffen: virtuelle Arbeitsplätze, Loginserver, Poolrechner, Computeblades, sowie sämtlich weitere Dienste, die durch NFS oder Samba angebunden werden.

nicht betroffen sind z.B.:
OLAT
Hessenbox

Due to the installation of important security updates in the area of the clustered central file server (NFS and Samba), there will be a brief interruption of the mentioned services on Friday, March 10, 2023 starting at 4:30 pm. The interruption will last approximately 10 minutes if the work proceeds as planned.

The affected services are:
NFS
Samba

Also indirectly affected are virtual workplaces, login servers, pool computers, compute blades, and all other services that are connected through NFS or Samba.

Services that are not affected include OLAT and Hessenbox.
