Das Videokonferenz System ZoomX steht ab sofort nicht mehr nur für den Bereich Lehre, sondern auch in der Forschung und Administration sowie in Universitätsbereichen wie Third Mission zur Verfügung. Es wird zudem verpflichtendes Videokonferenz System für die Zentralverwaltung. Damit wird ZoomX zur Standard Videokonferenz Lösung an der Goethe-Universität. Es ist datenschutzkonform einsetzbar.
Infolgedessen wird das OpenSource Videokonferenz System BigBlueButton (BBB) als Backup System geführt und das Videokonferenz System Vidyo zum 08.03.2024 eingestellt, da ZoomX alle Funktionalitäten bereithält.

The ZoomX video conferencing system is now available not only for teaching, but also for research and administration as well as in university departments such as Third Mission. It will also become a mandatory video conferencing system for the central administration. This makes ZoomX the standard video conferencing solution at Goethe University. It can be used in compliance with data protection regulations.
As a result, the open source video conferencing system BigBlueButton (BBB) will be used as a backup system and the video conferencing system Vidyo will be discontinued on 08.03.2024, as ZoomX provides all functionalities.
